Colour changing controls
Guide to Controls (BG 83/2023) written by John Marrow and published by BSRIA in June 2023, states in relation to colour changing controls: 'A lack of natural daylight has been linked with causing a lack of information needed for the human circadian rhythm to function properly. Controls are available which vary the colour temperature of LED luminaires from warm white (approximately 3000 K) to cool white (approximately 6500 K). These are sometimes known as tunable white controls. If the right colour temperature and illuminance are achieved, artificial light can promote human wellbeing in areas such as offices, schools, universities, hospitals and care homes.’
